Fish Adventure Seasons Breeding Times List

Breeding games by Frismos can be quite different.  In Fish Adventure Seasons, players do not need a Breeding List per se as you cannot breed hybrid types.  What may be quite useful, however, is a list of breeding timed for all fish.

Some types are sold in the Market for Coins.  Others require premium Cash in the form of Seastars. Where any variety of Fish has one type or colour with a Coin price, I have listed it.  Whatever the initial price, whether in Coins or Seastars, each species has only one Breed time and the selling price will not vary and always yields Coins rather than Seastars.

A good strategy always is to purchase the colour or type with the Coin price and then use Elixirs to attempt to breed colours you prefer.  You can create ANY colour using Elixirs.  It may take time and patience, but it is possible.

Level Requirements differ for each species.  Note, however, that Featured Fish often allow players to purchase Fish they otherwise would not have unlocked at their current levels.  If you see a Featured Fish that you want, look at the regular Fish Menu in the Market to see what the ordinary Level requirement would be.  If it is a Level that you have reached, you can wait to buy the Fish.  If not, and especially if the Fish is unlocked only at a very high level, you may wish to purchase it while it is being Featured.

The same holds true for Featured Themes and Decorations.

Note of Warning:  Featured Fish often are high level Fish.   If you are a low level player, you may bot have sufficient Coins to breed the Fish you have purchased in the Featured Department immediately. The higher the level of Fish, the higher the cost of Breeding and the longer the breeding period as well.

There are three separate actions that take time to complete and the time will be the same in each case. The first is the time to hatch any egg that is produced through breeding.  The second is the time it takes for a baby fish to become an adult.  The third is the time it will take the parent fish to recover their energy in order to be able to be used again in breeding.  These times always are the same within any breed type.  Thus, if it takes 1 day, 3 hours for a Heart Shaped Parrot Fish to hatch, it will take 1 day, 3 hours for the baby Heart Shaped Parrot Fish to become an adult.  Finally, when two Heart Shaped Parrot Fish are used for breeding, it will take 1 day, 3 hours for them to recover their energy so they can breed again.

You can use Speed-ups for any of these processes.  The cost of a Speed-up never exceeds 8 Seastars. Thus, it makes more sense to speed up an Egg that will hatch in 2 days than to speed up an Egg that will hatch in 17 hours.  The low level Fish take LESS time and require fewer Seastars but the maximum is 8 Seastars.

As no such guide exists, it will take time to log these times.

Note that the Goldfish can increase your XP fairly quickly through breeding and that, when the time decreases to 3 minutes, Speed-up is Free.  You therefore can breed them again and again without any significant delay.  The Speed-up likewise for the Betta is 1 Seastar initially but then becomes FREE.
